About Monument Computers
Monument Computers, formerly Monument Computer Services, has been in the Tri-Lakes area for over a decade. While originally started by Harold, it was purchased in 2006 by Mike Bailey and his business partner Walter. They provided computer services to the Monument area until October, 2015 when Dan Hamilton purchased the business and moved it to it’s current location. All staff combined, Monument Computers has over 40 years of computer experience, not bad considering the oldest one isn’t even 30.
Dan took over Monument Computers from Mike in October 2015. He is usually in the shop and enjoys talking with people about current technology available and explaining the basics of how modern computers work. Originally from Wisconsin, his wife and two little boys now live in Monument. Dan has spent 12 years in the Army National Guard where he used to fly Blackhawk helicopters, but now works with the Army in IT.
Evan has been working as a computer technician since 2013. When his original location closed, he quickly found a new position at Monument Computers. He is now the manager when Dan isn’t available and can quickly diagnose – and fix – any computer issue that comes in. At home he spends a lot of time upgrading his own computers as well as playing the latest games online.
Tyler joined Monument Computers in 2016. While not initially a computer technician, he has been a quick study and now can easily fix most any issue that comes into the store. He enjoys playing Rocket League and other games online with friends. He is a Monument native and currently lives in the Woodmoor area.
Nate joined Monument Computers in 2016 as a part time technician while going to UCCS for Mechanical Engineering. A native of Monument, Nate continues to live here while going to school and fixing computers. While only part-time, he has become an invaluable addition to the Monument Computers Team.
